Yule and Long Nights Moon Ritual, Dec. 29, Blackwood NJ
By Michelle A Jones, Amanda Handy and Bonnie Ryan Sauter

Saturday, December 29, 2012
Time: 2:00pm

Good Vibrations New Age & Metaphysical, LLC
22 N. Black Horse Pike
Blackwood, New Jersey 08012

Sisters of the Triple Goddess Moon Coven will be holding an open/public Yule ritual at Good Vibrations in Blackwood, NJ. (Thank you GV and Bonnie for co-hosting.) We will be lighting a Yule log (candles) as part of the ritual. All are welcome to join us.

Sisters of the Triple Goddess Moon follows an Eclectic Craft tradition. We do not call on any specific pantheon and instead choose to invoke the Goddess and God in their generic forms allowing each participant to envision who she or he is honoring. This ritual will consist of a circle casting, quarter calling, a guided meditation, a banishing ritual, and cake and ale (non-alcoholic) ceremony. The meditation and banishing ritual will focus on shedding anything you no longer want in or find useful to your life and welcoming the things you do. We'll have small slips of paper to write down the aspects/habits/people you'd like to remove from your life that will be burned in a cauldron (everything will be kept private between you and your Gods). After ritual, if you'd like to stay, we'll have snacks and be doing a quick craft of cinnamon stick votive holders. We ask each pariticipant to bring a votive candle holder that they can adorn; STGM will supply the rest of the craft supplies.

Please be prompt (STGM does not subscribe to Pagan Standard Time); we will allow for some time in case there are traffic issues or trouble with parking, however, once we start ritual and cast circle, the door will be locked so the energy isn't interrupted. Please call the store (856-227-3011) if you know you'll be late but would like us to wait for you.

Merry Meet,

I know that in today's economy there must be a lot of you left in the same position as I am.  I am looking for inexpensive but quality supplies (whether web or store).  I'm in the position of buying bits of things when I can and sometimes when I come across a new site that seems to be perfect $$$  then shipping and handling is crazy.  Anyway, I live in Lakewood any any suggestions are welcome. bb

Special Shamanic Astrology workshop, Jan. 17, Old Bridge NJ
by HOC Kokopelli, January 17, 2012

WHAT:  Shamanic and Practical Astrology Workshop by Kokopelli of HOC ($25)
WHERE:   Gaias Garden Grove
144 E. Greystone Road, Old Bridge, NJ 08857
WHEN:  Tuesday, January 17, 2012, 7 pm to 9:30 pm
HOW:  Bring your natal chart (if you don't have one, ask me - it's easy to help you to get one)

Hands of Change will offer another Advanced Magic workshop – Shamanic and Practical Astrology – facilitated by Kokopelli of HOC, at Gaia’s Garden Grove on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, 7 - 9:30 pm.  Workshop fee: $25 at the door.
This practical workshop will address two key areas:
1.  How to pick dates for important events based on astrological favorability.  All attendees will receive a free 2012 Llewellyn’s Astrological Calendar, and will learn how to determine favorable aspects of the Moon, planets, and other factors which help to decide whether a specific date could be supportive (or not) of plans for meetings, rituals, weddings, or other auspicious events in your life.
2.  What is your Life Purpose Project?  Why were you born now – what Tribal Mission were you born to help fulfill?  What is your Job in that Tribe, and what is your Path to Enlightenment to help you succeed in that Job and Mission?  What is the Fuel that keeps you going?  What are the impacts of your Past Life and your inner feminine and masculine elements?  Attendees should bring their astrological natal chart wheel, so we can learn how to analyze it and share lessons with the class.
Preregistration is required.  Please call or email Kokopelli directly at (703) 629-8491 or  kokopelligi@... .  He serves as HOC’s Coven Astrologer as has been providing Shamanic Astrology readings for people for over 12 years.
