I know it's Magical and Spiritual, Beautiful and fun, but when we use fire that is something that much be totally respected and never underestimated, NEVER, EVER EVER LEAVE ANYTHING BURNING IF YOUR NOT GOING TO BE THERE IN FRONT OF IT...NEVER! I don't care who or what you are, this tragedy of this entire family is a good lesson to everyone that uses fire as a tool for so many things. BE RESPONSIBLE AND PUT THE LOGS, CANDLES, LANTERNS ANYTHING THAT USES FIRE out before you leave the room and esp if your going to bed...MY GODS, this log was still hot ashes that is WAY MORE HOTTER THEN THE FIRE! Please be safe and again....NEVER LEAVE ANYTHING BURNING AND THINK IT WONT HAPPEN TO YOU!

The fatal Connecticut fire that killed a fashion-marketing exec’s three children and parents was possibly sparked by embers from disposed fireplace ashes, The Post has learned.

The ashes from the family’s Christmas Eve yule log may have been still smoldering when they were left outside the 100-year-old, $1.7 million, Long Island Sound-view Victorian, said a source.

The wind may have blown the embers into the old, wooden building, sparking the blaze.

All Ye Crones and Sages...I know with all the new things coming about you hear so many different things we youngsters are doing and I know it annoys you, what I think would be nice is....Share what's on your mind, your concerns and questions and lets make a connection with the younger generation to learn why they do what they do and at the same time share some Wise Older Wisdom with them as to hope to teach the Newer Generation the Way of the Craft!

About Linda & Hawk

Linda Fernandez has a deep reverence for the profound love, truth and beauty in all that life has to give, teach and inspire. She also volunteers her healing services, in support of the Marie Crosby Fund, for the affordable healing series and psychic & health fairs at Edgar Cayce's Association for Research and Enlightenment in New York City.

Walking Hawk grew up under the keen tutelage of wise medicine elders from a mixture of different nations. Being exposed to the humble ways of the ancestors gave Walking Hawk the insight to train and reflect on the oneness of Mother Earth and all who live with her. As a Heyoka medicine man and former chief, he walks the contrary path with Spirit and lives in compassionate service to the people. Event Details: Monday May 2, 2011 - Beltane / May Day Celebration - Join Lady Hawke, Sambina and Sam Hain as we dance around the May Pole to celebrate Beltane! There will be rituals, a meditation, an open circle, and a feast. There will be free seeds for you to plant for a magical garden and a surprise gift. Please bring in food or drink to share. No Alcohol please.

If you have a chalice please bring it, if you do not, a cup will be provided.

The Magic Monday Club was started in 1991 as a safe haven, where beginners & practitioners of the craft could go and discuss Witchcraft, Magickal, & New Age topics. Over the years we try to keep the club a positive, fun group while bringing a greater knowledge and understanding to all. We have open discussions, or we may have a guest teacher. We celebrate the Sabbats & all are welcomed to join in the rituals. Good magic only.
